Scott Melamed joined the Advancement Project development team in the spring of 2012. Prior to Advancement, Scott worked in the DC office of the Pew Charitable Trusts, developing grants and contracts for the Center on the States’ elections and corrections reform projects. Scott spent the summer of 2009 in the office of U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, supporting the senator’s energy and environment staff as an intern, and much of 2007 and 2008 working on the Obama presidential campaign field team in Nevada. He graduated from Oberlin College in 2007 and originally hails from Minneapolis, MN.
