Agape Foundation: Invites Letter of Intent

The Agape Foundation welcomes proposals from small, California-based grassroots organizations working for nonviolent social change. Agape funds organizations addressing: Peace, Human Rights, Environmental Protection, Economic Justice, Progressive Arts & Media, and Grassroots Organizing Support. The foundation also funds the distribution of social issue media, including films, videos, radio programs, compact discs, vinyl records, and books. Herb Block Foundation: Accepting Applications for Pathways Out of Poverty Program

The Herb Block Foundation invites nonprofit organizations serving the Greater Washington DC region to apply for this program. The program focuses on helping young people and adults gain a quality education. For projects serving youth, the foundation seeks projects focusing on middle school-aged children and above. For projects serving adults, the foundation seeks proposals to provide literacy education, GED preparation, vocational training, job placement. Oxfam International Youth Partnerships: Invites Applications

Oxfam International Youth Partnerships is a global network of young people working with their communities to create positive, equitable, and sustainable change. Youth aged 18-25 and working with their community to create a positive future are eligible to apply. Youth who are chosen will have opportunities to develop their skills, knowledge, understanding, as well as talk and share with other like-minded young people. PeyBack Foundation: Accepting Grant Applications for Programs to Assist Disadvantaged Youth

The PeyBack Foundation was established to promote the future success of disadvantaged youth by assisting programs that provide leadership and growth opportunities for children at risk. Programs related to youth in the Indiana, Tennessee, and New Orleans metropolitan areas are of primary concern to the foundation. Western Mining Action Network and Indigenous Environmental Network: Mini Grants

The Indigenous Environmental Network ,in partnership with Western Mining Action and through a grant from Oxfam America, is part of a pilot project designed to provide funding to small grassroots indigenous communities impacted by mining. The goal of the program is to support and enhance the capacity building efforts of mining-impacted indigenous communities to assure that mining projects do not adversely affect human, cultural, and ecological health within traditional territories.
