Raul Arroyo-Mendoza joined Advancement Project shortly after graduating from Tufts University, where he double majored in international relations and philosophy. During college, he spent a semester studying abroad at Kanazawa University in Japan. Although Raul was born in Mexico City and returns frequently, he has lived most of his life inside the Beltway. Before working at Advancement Project, he worked as an administrative assistant at Birch, Stewart, Kolasch & Birch LLP, an intellectual property firm based in Falls Church, VA. Raul plans to attend law school and aspires to be completely trilingual one day.
